The following step-by-step guide provides your with tips on how to write your essay.
1. Read the requirements in assignment brief thoroughly. The requirements should hint you what area research should be done and/or what article, journals, and books should be read and referenced.
2. Design the structure of your essay in accordance with the requirements. Try to break down the requirements into individual question. Each and every heading/sub-heading should be structured in line with the questions.
3. In almost all cases, there is limit in maximum number of words in the essay. Budget your number of words in each and every section. This assures you would not do over-writing.
4. Executive Summary should be written at the last stage. It is always easier to summarize what you have written than to elaborate in details from a simple sentence. The Executive Summary should echo what you have written in each and every paragraph as well.
5. Analyze the questions in qualitative manner. Always make use of the resources from library, research databases, and internet to interpret the key words appeared in the assignment brief. This helps you to assure your writing hits the expected result right away.
6. While you are doing research, insert all the citations, materials fetched from internet, and books in your document (this is the embedded feature in MS Word). This will be used to build up the Bibliography section which is always required as part of the essay.
7. Quote from scholars’ theories, reports written by consulting firms, figures from target business segment, and statistical data from marketing research organizations. Those are empowered quote to solidify your points and arguments. Do not quote too much context from there or you may fail in Turnitin (plagiarism) check.
8. Quote real-life examples in business worlds. Recent academic qualifications requires diversities from various industries. The more market relevant, the higher applicability of the learning outcome. The portion of examples should account for approximately one fourth of the essay.
9. Proof-read your writing prior to submission. No red/blue cursive underline does not mean your essay is grammatically perfect.
