EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

General speaking, Apple did well in conducting the roles & responsibilities with its internal staffs and also external suppliers but it was far from enough. Firstly, it has to developed a clear KPI for its staffs and supplies so that it could base on this ground to measure the performances of all teams. In addition, it has to enhance its training & development programs by enriching its CSR topics to ensure everyone with through understanding, while it also needs to equip its leaders to be with adequate knowledge to adopt changes including staff empowerment and the capabilities of performance monitoring. Finally, a good rewarding system is required to ensure the whole company is developing towards the right direction with motivational factors for driving.

INTRODUCTION

There is no doubt that Apple is recognized to be one of the most successful business organizations in the global not only within the IT sector but also expanding to the entire digital business segment as at today. and it has demonstrated success in allocating great efforts in developing its team not only covering its staffs but also its key stakeholder of suppliers. In fact business team development is considered to be the key of success towards most business organizations to compete with others under current tough business environment. This report is going to describe the current situation of Apple’s business team forming based on several key business team development theories such as the McGregor theories (theory X & theory Y) and the Tuckman’s theory that both of them were explaining how to form a corporate level strategy for a business organization for successful team development. Finally, it would also conduct a list of recommendations to Apply to enhance and improve its current status of team development.
